a grave with a view

a grave with a view

“A past that is now lost
The dreams I never forgot
nor the silent whispers
From the souls of glass
Sunrise over locus mortis
I hope that they will give me
A grave with a view”

words from the album ‘Soulside Journey’ by Darkthrone

Arbow Low is an old friend of mine.
It is a prehistoric ritual site with a neolithic henge, recumbent stone circle and dozens of bronze age tumulii in a beautiful location and fantastic views of the surrounding countryside in all directions.
A space that has spanned the portal of life and death for over 6000 years.

A gateway to and from The Summerlands.
