Poppy has now found a home !!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Poppy is now officially out of rehab!
\nShe is looking for a home where she can be the only dog to live the life of Riley or with another male dog.
\nPoppy even though she gets on with all dogs prefers male company the most.
\nShe isn’t one for girlie chats or tear jerking films.
\nPoppy is good off the lead, with cats ( she is actually scared of cats) and children.
\nShe loves to run and fetch a ball and bring it back to you: That is as long as she doesn’t decide to just drop it in the long grass never to be seen again. Always best to have a few in your pocket if you are the lucky person who has her move in with you.
\nPoppy is a great traveller in the car, she hasn’t once thrown up in the back of the Volvo much to Helen’s relief !!
\nShe walks well on the lead.
\nPoppy is also the sort of dog that likes lots of cuddles and will push your hand for more fuss.
\nShe still barks a bit at new people coming in the house but soon gets over that and is asking to be stroked<\/p>\n

Poppy is In Rehab until she is able to be homed !<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Poppy is coming on really well.
\nAlways good off the lead and with the other dogs.
\nShe also now is comfortable with different people coming in and out of the house and lets men she hasn’t met before stroke her and will immediately offer a toy to be thrown.
\nShe still gets a little stressed sometimes and would love to give the hoover a nip if I let her but that is common with dogs if you let them do it.
\nShe was the model of good behaviour when I took her to work with me.
\nShe met the resident cats and showed not a lot of interest in them.
\nPoppy will need a home with other confident, sociable dogs so she can continue to learn from them as she has from the dogs at the Rescue<\/p>\n

Poppy is getting on much better than when she first arrived.
\nShe is most of the time happy to be in her crate overnight and when I am out.
\nShe has become far more used to people visiting and within no time is offering her toy to be thrown, is not stressed in the car anymore and she is very good off the lead.
\nShe is a lovely girl, very affectionate too.<\/p>\n

\nI’m Poppy.
\nI’m having a bit of r+r at the Rescue until I’m ready to be rehomed, so you might see a bit more of me now and again.
\nApparently its not unusual for certain sorts of collies to enter the Rescue and be placed In Rehabilitation and I follow a long and distinguished line that included Dooley, Rocco, Holly and Cara although apparently I’m nowhere nearly as crazy as them!
\nI just get a bit stressed when I’m left alone, but it’s something that will be worked out once I get a bit more confident.
\nI’m quiet and very friendly with other dogs and probably you too once I’ve got used to you,
\nso no doubt you’ll hear more of my updates soon!<\/p>\n
