progress update: 27\/6\/15<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dear Helen
\nWe just wanted to let you know that Gizmo is settling in well at Dad\u2019s house and has made himself at home on the chairs and claimed his new bed and blanket.
\nHe is eating well and enjoying his walks and has realised that the morning walks involve picking up the paper from a shop where the lady gives the dogs a treat and he is lining up ready for his after two mornings.<\/p>\n

He now has been fitted for his new wardrobe and although his winter coat is at the dressmakers to get the Velcro moved everything else now is fitted and ready to wear.<\/p>\n

Many thanks for letting him come into our lives and thanks to Pat to for the loan of the harness due to sizing being different for each item
\n( I managed to buy two harnesses in small and one was too big and the other too small).
\nThese are now rectified and Dad will return the loan harness in the next couple of days.<\/p>\n

Gizzy is settling in really well and adapting much quicker than I thought,
\nhe had a skin massage with coconut oil last night and is now wearing a cotton t shirt.
\nI have taken his harness off as he is now happy to be picked up touched and cuddled.
\nHe happily jumps on my lap and nudges for a cuddle,
\nhe loves his food but would benefit from going on a diet…wouldn’t we all…<\/p>\n

\nGizmo is a four year old Chinese Crested x Chihuahua.
\nHe gets on with other dogs and has lived with cats and an older child.
\nGizmo can be distrusting of new people at first but he soon comes round when given a little time to get to know you.
\n–<\/p>\n

Arriving at the Rescue tomorrow,
\na small chinese crested x chihauhau,
\n4yrs old male named GIZMO\u2026
\nSadly family circumstances means he is looking for his forever home through no fault of his own xx
\ncan’t wait to meet him\u2026
