{"id":11013,"date":"2016-01-11T12:22:27","date_gmt":"2016-01-11T11:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=11013"},"modified":"2016-01-23T18:25:18","modified_gmt":"2016-01-23T17:25:18","slug":"arnie-a-k-a-ballast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/arnie-a-k-a-ballast\/","title":{"rendered":"Arnie (a.k.a Ballast)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">REHOMED !!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">progress update: 11\/01\/2016<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hi Helen, Arnie has settled in really well and is a loved member of the family.<br \/>\nHe has grown to a massive 7 stone and that&#8217;s 7 stone of pure muscle, not fat!<br \/>\nAs you can image, he can be a little difficult to handle at times when out walking but I still have the upper hand on him!<br \/>\nThis adorable gentle is admired wherever we go and I wouldn&#8217;t change him for the world (well for the world I may have to think twice)<br \/>\nYou may be interested to know that my wife who is Spanish did a little research into his background and found that he is a cross between a Lab and a Spanish Mastiff, hence his huge size!<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Arnie has now found a home !!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Update from his new home :-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Balast now renamed Arnie has settled in really well.<br \/>\nHe is in a dream to take out as he walks side by side with me and my Dalmation without any pulling at all.<br \/>\nHe has had no accidents in the house and appears to be clean.<br \/>\nAfter jumping in the pond chasing the fish he has now had a bath and smells wonderful.<br \/>\nThe only other incident to report is that he had chewed up my slippers ?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d15\/1110a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d15\/1110b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d15\/1110c.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d15\/1110d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He is a Labrador Cross only six months old.<br \/>\nBallast is a big softie, young, bouncy and in need of normal training.<br \/>\nHe really is a very nice boy.<br \/>\nWhen he arrived at the Rescue Rocco who has the normal small dog ego, bullied him &#8211;<br \/>\nwhat did Ballast do but reverse as quick as he could and looked at Helen as if to say &#8221; OH my God save me !! &#8220;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REHOMED !! progress update: 11\/01\/2016 Hi Helen, Arnie has settled in really well and is a loved member of the family.
