Hi Helen<\/p>\n

It\u2019s me Bennie<\/p>\n

Wow its great here<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not sure but Sophie thinks I\u2019m a Hobbit as you can see from the
\nphoto I get second breakfast.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve discovered this big wet and sandy thing too and I love it.<\/p>\n

I can run and jump and play with all sorts of other dogs.<\/p>\n

I have been for a paddle but I\u2019m a little scared of the big wavy wet
\nthing though.<\/p>\n

Hey ho off for third breakfast<\/p>\n

Hope you are ok<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll see you soon maybe while I\u2019m on walkies<\/p>\n

Hi Helen<\/p>\n

Life here is really fun.
\nLots of attention and lots of treats
\nI’ve discovered this thing called walkies which is real fun.
\nI got to see and meet some other dogs and look at all sorts of stuff that
\nmakes noise but I wasn’t bothered.
\nWhen I get home I’m really tired and flop on my bed.
\nApparently I’ve got the vets Saturday which sounds fun and tonight I went
\nfor a test drive in the back of a land rover with Chloe and Sophie.
\nWOW that was scary at first but after a while and some chocolate I stood up
\nand watched where I was going.
\nOh well hey ho my dinner calls.

Hi Helen
\nWell after you left I stayed in my cage for a while cos I felt safe
\nbut I was tempted out by some really tasty doggy chews.<\/p>\n

The nice people left me alone for a while cos I think they knew I was a little
\nshy and a bit scared.
\nI then decided to explore a little and walked anywhere I liked.<\/p>\n

I slept well all night on my new super soft doggy bed and had a chew of
\nsome of my new toys. Because they had been so nice to me I did my
\nstuff on the paper they left for me.<\/p>\n

When I saw them first thing in the morning I was a little shy and a little excited.<\/p>\n

I had some fantastic breakfast and then I went outside to explore and play.<\/p>\n

They ignored me for a while and I could do whatever I wanted.<\/p>\n

I made a new friend too. A funny looking dog that purrs
\nand is called Smokey.<\/p>\n

Anyway its all going well and I think I’m going to like it here.<\/p>\n

Today Helen and Jane picked me up and took me back to the rescue.
\nI took a while to catch as I have not met many people before and am used
\nto living outside in a very small area of space.
\nI was terrified at first.
\nWhen I got to the rescue I was given a bath to get some of the dirt out of my coat.
\nI liked it when I was dried with a towel and started to relax a bit.
\nJane took me home to her place to meet her family and Ozzy the dog that lives there.
\nHe told me he was a rescue once and had a terrible life but life is good now and will be for me
\ntoo soon.
\nJane and her family are kind to me and their garden is huge, I
\ndidn’t know that there could be so much space to explore.
\nI am a Collie so it is in my breed to run and burn off energy I’ve just never had
\nthe chance to do this before.Jane told Helen I am doing quite well and
\nshe has put a cage for me to go into whenever I start to feel
\noverwhelmed by it all.
\nThere is a blanket in it and the door is left open for me all the time, it feels safe in the cage a bit like a den.<\/p>\n

I ate my food from a clean dish and it was the best meal I have ever eaten.
\nLots of people have visited the house today and I am gradually getting used to a busy household.<\/p>\n

in order that we can ensure the continued well-being of the dogs in our care.<\/span><\/h6>\n
We will sometimes re-home further afield to this but only if the homes are exceptional.<\/span><\/h6>\n
We are NOT looking for just ANY home that is offered.<\/span><\/h6>\n
