We received this message from the couple that adopted Tetley and it just goes to show what a little patience and training can achieve.
\nTetley was not good with the cats when he first went to his new home.<\/p>\n

\nHe brings us so much joy.
\nWe love him so much.

Tetley patiently waiting for his Dad to come back from Tescos with treats<\/p>\n

Tetley has now found a home !!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

The cat project is ongoing and we\u2019ve managed to persuade one of them to eat on one side of the dog gate with Tetley being fed fishy treats on the other.
\nHe\u2019s very talkative at times which was a little disconcerting at first.
\nHowever, his behaviour appears to be classic greyhound in every way.
\nHe is lazy, windy, affectionate, loves a cuddle and does what he wants when he wants to do it.<\/p>\n

His recall is improving rapidly and we are now getting good eye contact for a lot of commands.
\nHe loves mixing with other dogs and doesn’t appear to be at all bad tempered with them.
\nThat said he\u2019s so tall that we have to be careful about him treading on smaller dogs and we are rationing him until he\u2019s been neutered.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m still working from home so he keeps me company on the couch next to my workstation most of the day.
\nOur Spanish Rescue dog Willow arrives tomorrow pm so we\u2019re prepping for that at the moment.
\nI think that should settle him<\/p>\n

Tetley has settled well into his new home!<\/p>\n

Tetley is a year old Lurcher who gets on well with other dogs, cats and children.
\nTetley is a very good boy and is settling in well.<\/p>\n
