{"id":1350,"date":"2009-04-22T11:11:28","date_gmt":"2009-04-22T11:11:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=1350"},"modified":"2009-04-22T11:11:28","modified_gmt":"2009-04-22T11:11:28","slug":"ellie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/ellie\/","title":{"rendered":"Ellie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>progress update: 22nd Apr 09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Andy and Jo have offered Ellie a permanent home with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They say that they want her life to be as enjoyable as possible for as long as she has left.<br \/>\nWe would like to thank them for giving Ellie a home<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>progress update: 21st Apr 09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Ellie arrived from Ireland having already had a scan which revealed a kidney stone needing removal.<br \/>\nThis was removed and she was spayed at the same time.<br \/>\nEllie has been used only for breeding all her life and as a result of this her health has suffered. We have now discovered that she is blind in one eye and has limited vision in the other.<br \/>\nShe is also nearly deaf.<br \/>\nWe are awaiting the results of a diabetes test.<br \/>\nAndy and Jo , who are fostering her and who took her to the vet as they were concerned about her health, are going to look after her until a home can be found.<br \/>\nIf not, she will be going back to Ireland to live with Tessa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We would like to thank Andy and Jo for looking after Ellie and for caring about her so much.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>progress update: Apr 19th 09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Ellie arrived at the Rescue yesterday, more details and photos soon!<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2\/jam583.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2\/jam582.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This is Ellie, she&#8217;s turned out to be the nicest dog, brilliant on walks off the lead in the forest,<br \/>\nor on the beach, &amp; comes the second she is called.<br \/>\nTypical sunny springer nature &amp; she&#8217;ll play ball for hours , just dropping it gently at your feet if you are busy doing something else [ even washing up at the sink ]<br \/>\nshe&#8217;d be brilliant with children &amp; is ok with dogs &amp; now fine with cats<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>progress update: 22nd Apr 09 Andy and Jo have offered Ellie a permanent home with them.
