Helen hi<\/p>\n

I am sorry we haven’t been in touch for ages.
\nI thought you might like an update on Bess.
\nShe has settled in very well and is a lovely part of the family now.
\nIt has been lovely watching her character come out over the past 8 months.
\nShe has a lot of Marley in her and gets into a lot of mischief at times!
\nShe is a very clever dog and full of energy and affection.
\nShe gets on very well with other dogs and has made lots of local ‘friends’.
\nShe loves long walks, playing with other dogs and chasing the ball, as well as getting wet, muddy and eating.
\nPlease let us know when you next have a show and we will finally get down to visit with Bess.
\nI have attached a few photos of Bess over the last few months, including one of her watching her favourite film, Marley!!<\/p>\n

progress update: 13th May 09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bess is settling in nicely and is lovely.
\nShe is learning to sit before crossing the road and before food and is beginning to walk well on the lead.
\nShe loves chasing a ball and enjoys a good chew of anything that comes to hand –
\nincluding us at times but she is beginning to understand we don’t want to be chewed!
\nShe had a good check up at the Vets last week who confirmed what we thought, that she
\nis probably a retriever\/collie cross.
\nShe has loads of energy and today had her first run around off the lead with a friend’s dog.
\nShe had such fun and is getting over her initial fear of bigger dogs, and
\nwas brilliant at returning when she was called.<\/p>\n

We will keep you up to date as she progresses and send more pictures.
\nI have attached a photo of her in some local woods after attacking a
\nmuddy puddle!<\/p>\n
