{"id":14181,"date":"2022-10-30T13:00:55","date_gmt":"2022-10-30T12:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=14181"},"modified":"2022-10-30T13:00:55","modified_gmt":"2022-10-30T12:00:55","slug":"could-you-take-a-dawgdog-for-a-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/could-you-take-a-dawgdog-for-a-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"Could you take a DAWGdog for a walk?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Our dogs are very lucky as we have fab volunteer dog walkers<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">(Lianne, Barry, Sara and Jane)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">who take them out for very long walks, training and socialisation.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>This also means that we get to know what they are like in different enviroments.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>They are far more socialised when they go to their new homes.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>By the time they have been on buses, taken car rides, gossiped with people in shops,<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>had weekends away watching tv with Lianne (who always lets them have the best spot to sit)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>been taught manners and how to behave with Sara,<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>had a good hike to burn off pent up energy with Barry and Jane,<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>and visited coffee shops for a cuppa they are very different dogs to the ones that arrived into the Rescue.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>This is why we do not home our dogs quickly.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>We like to get know them a little more.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>If you feel you could help by walking a dog or fostering even for a weekend please phone the Rescue on 01202 380467<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our dogs are very lucky as we have fab volunteer dog walkers (Lianne, Barry, Sara and Jane) who take them out for very long walks, training and socialisation.
