{"id":170,"date":"2009-01-28T00:01:12","date_gmt":"2009-01-28T00:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=170"},"modified":"2009-01-28T00:01:12","modified_gmt":"2009-01-28T00:01:12","slug":"mollie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/mollie\/","title":{"rendered":"Mollie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>progress update: 28th Jan 09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2\/Mollie.bmp\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>progress update: 7th Jun 09<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8220;Molly has been with us for eight years now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Do you remember how she<br \/>\nwas only about 12 kilos when she arrived?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Well we struggled for ages<br \/>\nto keep the weight on her until we got her a playmate called Lady<br \/>\nBella (Belle) from Happy Dogs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now because Belle eats anything Molly<br \/>\nhas decided she can eat anything and has no problems staying the right weight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Our vet thinks that Molly is probably nearer 14 years old than<br \/>\nthe ten years that you would have recorded for her.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Molly still barks &amp; stresses a lot but not as much as when she first arrived,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">we don&#8217;t think she will ever totally stop but we love her anyway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Molly doesagility at home now when the weather is good,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">she has a touch of arthritis now so she doesn&#8217;t go to agility classes any more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Molly is terrified of anything that moves under her feet,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">shortly after shefirst arrived we took her to the beach and she hated the feel of the<br \/>\nsand moving under her feet at the waters edge,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">she wont go in thewater unless we throw a toy in &amp; even then she wont swim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">She was in the Bournemouth Echo once with a jack russel called &#8220;Lilly or Milly&#8221;<br \/>\nnot sure which we have the article some where when we did a Charity<br \/>\ndog walk for the Stray Dog Sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Molly loves to play ball as<br \/>\nalways and she got two new Company of Animals Puzzle games from Santa<br \/>\nlast Christmas, but she does have to share them with Belle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Molly says Christmas is lovely but a bit strange when a tree takes root in our lounge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">People are always commenting to me (Beth) on her lovely shiny coat<br \/>\nwhen I take her out and I tell them that it is because she is on Burns<br \/>\ndog food.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">At our shop (Pets Direct) when people want a new dog we<br \/>\nalways recommend that they call you &amp; the other local animal<br \/>\ncharities rather than a breeder or shops that sell pets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I will watch your web site for any fund raising events you have going<br \/>\non and try to get to some with Molly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Regards<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Beth Burton<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>progress update: 28th Jan 09 progress update: 7th Jun 09 &#8220;Molly has been with us for eight years now.
