{"id":2318,"date":"2017-08-27T08:48:13","date_gmt":"2017-08-27T07:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=2318"},"modified":"2017-09-03T10:55:50","modified_gmt":"2017-09-03T09:55:50","slug":"16-more-dogs-arriving-this-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/16-more-dogs-arriving-this-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Peppa, Maddie, Emmie, Jack ( a.k.a Nippa a.k.a Nipper a.k.a Tyler) and Buster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>progress update on Jack 27\/8\/17<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/17\/39a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We adopted Jack aka Nipper aka Tyler 7 1\/2 years ago, today walking at Avon Heath we met Maddie who turned out to be Jack&#8217;s sister, how amazing is that !!<br \/>\nHope to make the show in September maybe we will meet more of his siblings.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>progress update on Buster 27\/7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2010\/2707s.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2010\/2707t.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2010\/2707u.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs2010\/2707v.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Buster is still gaining confidence although he is still unsure of people but after seeing someone a couple of times, he is fine with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We took the dogs down to the beach which he was a bit unsure of (it was really busy) but once he was off the lead, he was in his element :)<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">All the pups have now been rehomed !!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/0103a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/0103b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/0103c.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/0103d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Buster is 6 months old , he is a quiet, gentle chap who loves playing with our other dogs, and going out for his walks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He has settled happily into his foster home, he loves lots of cuddles, and is no trouble.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He does get nervous when people visit, and when visiting or walked in busier places, but this is improving.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Maddie, Emmie, Nippa and Peppa have now found homes !!!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/180110a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i825.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz173\/DAWGdogs_net\/180110b.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">All pups\u00a0 are doing well and all growing in confidence, they are all such characters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Buster is getting very confident and comes for a cuddle now, he likes\u00a0comfort and makes himself very at home. \u00a0However not keen on going \u00a0walkies on the lead, but walks back home very fast and happily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Nippa\u00a0is also very confident and loves his cuddles, he is very nosey and likes to know what is going on,\u00a0 he is starting to enjoy his walks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Emmie bless her is still trying very hard to trust us, but\u00a0we are making progress.\u00a0 She is\u00a0 very bright, and happy to have\u00a0her cuddles now. However going on the lead is a great trauma for her, so we have\u00a0abanded walkies for a now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They all love playing chase in the garden with Meg and\u00a0are having great fun in the snow.<br \/>\nThey are happy to go in and out of their crate , and\u00a0 getting used to clicker training\u00a0 they sit, \u00a0go down and go to bed when asked, just starting on the leave command.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>progress update: 5th Jan 10<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>PEPPA, NIPPER, EMMIE AND BUSTER NEED<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>HOMES !!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maddie has now found a home !!!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>progress update from Carol and Steve<\/strong><strong>: 5th Dec 09<\/strong><br \/>\nHi Helen<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We are getting more confident every day, but are still nervous when we come out of our bed,<br \/>\nbut we are getting used to it, and we are not worried about all the different noises.<br \/>\nWe eat all our food up, we sit and go down for our special treats and we are excellent at night.<br \/>\nThe best thing is playing with our toys and new friend Meg, thats really exciting.<br \/>\nWe are no trouble we just need lots of time, patience and cuddles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/51209a.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/51209b.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/51209c.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Brown one is a girl and she is called Emmie,black ones are boys called Nipper and Buster.<br \/>\nThey are coming on well but the girl is still nervous and will need more time to settle before going to a home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><strong>progress update on Peppa and Maddie from Nicky and Kevin: 28th Nov 09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/281109d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/281109e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/281109f.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/281109g.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hi Helen,<br \/>\nIt has been over a week since two terrified pups and a very scared young Milly arrived at our house.<br \/>\nThey spent the first four days hiding and cowering in any corner they could find but now they are getting into being normal, happy puppies<br \/>\nThey have been playing the brick game and have mastered collecting all the food treats .<br \/>\nPeppa with the distinctive patterened nose is so gentle and loving she is completely clean.<br \/>\nWe have only had one accident from Peppa she is gorgeous but still needs some tlc .<br \/>\nMaddie is still nervous she is still working on trusting us completely,<br \/>\nshe also has a lovely nature and loves playing with the other dogs.<br \/>\nMillie has come on in leaps and bounds and has been a joy to have.<br \/>\nMillie has loved her walks and loves a cuddle she is still very scared of noises and the lead,<br \/>\nshe loves playing with our Izzie .<br \/>\nKev and Nicky xxx<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs3\/pupsnov11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Four of the five 12 week old Collie mix pups<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Their history:<br \/>\nIn the spring of 2009 a quiet, shy Collie dog wandered through the fields adjacent to an 81 year old lady&#8217;s house.<br \/>\nShe began leaving some food near her house for the dog, who would come and feed in the late night. After a number of months the dog became confident enough for human contact.<br \/>\nIt was then that she realised that she had to trust as she had a litter of pups that needed more food than she could provide herself. It was over another month before she arrived with her five &#8220;Forest Puppies&#8221;. Eileen the 81 year old has continued to look after the puppies up to the time they were collected and brought over from Ireland to the Rescue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">However they have grown fast and are coming on well in their foster home.<br \/>\nThe puppies mother has been named Sitka as in Sitka Spruce after the trees in the forest where she gave birth and cared for her young for 2-3 months.
