Susie has now been rehomed !!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

progress update: 20th Dec 09<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello Helen
\nJust to give you a progress report about Susie or Nell as we have now named her!
\nShe has settled in really well after a rocky start…She managed to escape on her 2nd night and we searched for her until 3am but amazingly she found her way home at 7.30am and was waiting in the porch! I think that gave her a fright as she doesn’t go too far from my side now.
\nShe is an absolute delight and every day her confidence increases. She was very nervous of my son and husband but is now not really bothered by them.
\nMy other collie Mac adores her and they have great fun running in the fields, chasing each other and they also snuggle up on the same bed!
\nI am getting her used to the lead as I don’t think she was familiar with one before and she is bright and obedient, I don’t think it will take long to have her walking to heel.
\nShe has a good appetite and now eats dry dog food happily and will crunch a biscuit which she wouldn’t do before.
\nA lovely sweet girl who is bringing much joy to our lives, as I write this she is curled up on the sofa with her head on my lap and I am sure if she could talk she would want to thank you for all the rescue work you do and for changing her life!<\/p>\n
