progress update 27\/7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n \n Hi Helen,<\/p>\n I thought you’d like an update on ‘Ted’, and how he is settling in at my house in the three weeks that I have had him.<\/p>\n Soon after I brought ‘Ted’ home I changed his name to Scruffy – it suited him, and he only took about 2 weeks to respond to it. He is a delightful dog, and we get along really well. He follows me everywhere in the house, garden and even at work. He greets anyone who visits me with such affection, and is brilliant with my grandchildren.<\/p>\n Just last week I treated him to a session at the local dogs beauty parlour – and the photo attached shows you the results. A clean dog, having had a hair cut, pedicure and bath. He is so proud of himself now, and tears around the garden like a pup!<\/p>\n The only problem I have with him is on taking him out. I haven’t let him off the lead yet, as he strains constantly when he sees another dog – and if one comes near he tends to go for it. I hope this will sort itself out soon, as I am going to try letting him off the lead next weekend.
