\nHe has been back to Wales this year on holiday and walked up Snowdon.
\nHe’s also been to the Peak District and the Forest of Dean and many other places too.
\nHe has fitted in so well with us.

Hi Helen and Heleanor,<\/span><\/p>\n

Thought I’d give you a belated update on Cwmbran. <\/span><\/p>\n

He’s settled in really well with us and especially loves our grandchildren.
\nHis coat is now really soft and shiny – have never known a dog moult as much as he did when he first arrived. He really enjoys his walks – 6 miles in the morning and 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and he’s great with other dogs. Our 10 year old collie adores him although he is so laid back – our daughter says he’s on prozac! – that we’re not sure he feels the same about her.
\nThey do sleep together though. <\/span><\/p>\n

As you told me Heleanor he’s car mad but we have to travel with him on the floor as he gets very anxious about traffic and pants excessively – we’re considering getting a soft travel crate.
\nDespite being so laid-back at home when we’re out he charges about like a whirling dervish. <\/span><\/p>\n

We hope he’s as happy with us as we are with him.

progress update from Cwmbran’s fosterer Heleanor: 24\/7\/11<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Just to say Cwmbran has settled in beautifully.
\nGreat in the house and car, walks well on a lead a very loving boy.
\nLearning to leave the cats alone but very respectful of my girls.
\nHis name means valley of the crows.<\/p>\n

Cwmbran is a 7 year old Kelpie who came into the rescue as a result of a marriage break up.
\nHe has lived with five other dogs and children.
\nHelen would keep him if she could as he is well mannered, quiet and gentle.<\/p>\n
