He&#8217;s divine, a real character!<br \/>\nWe are coming along with his house training with only the very rare accident now, he sleeps through the night and lets us know when he needs the toilet.<br \/>\nHe&#8217;s fitted in great with my daily work routine and loves being outdoors all day everyday helping me do scrub clearance by pulling up sticks!<br \/>\nHe adores Marley and wants to be best friends and constantly close to him&#8230;<br \/>\nMarley is slowly coming round to the idea.. it&#8217;s early days!<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll provide another update\/essay in a few months, but for now, thank you so much for all the work you do and for enabling us to have two beautiful dogs.<br \/>\nJess<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong> progress update:25\/10\/12<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hiya Helen,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hope you are well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Thought I&#8217;d update you on Marley (aka Sam.) He&#8217;s been with us just over a month now and has settled in beautifully. He is the biggest softy I have ever known and just loves attention.. which is lucky as everybody LOVES him and gives him tons of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d12\/2810k.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He loves being outdoors with me everyday, watching me work! He will wander off and I can always trust him to come back when he&#8217;s finished exploring! Strangely he seems to adore being in the car and will try and get into any car if there is a door open which has proved interesting on occasion!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d12\/2810l.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I took him to the vets a couple of weeks ago, just for a check up and to register and the vet aged him at 3 (ish) years old. He was very well behaved and is a lovely healthy dog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We go down to the beach a lot and he just loves playing in the sea. He does have a tendency to stay very close by to me and sometimes requires a little encouragement to play &#8211; ie me getting in the sea too!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d12\/2810m.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He has no interest in playing with\/chasing sticks or balls so I have started cycling with him to give him that level of exercise that collies require. I do most of the pedalling though! He absolutely loves to run alongside me and sometimes even gets a bit competitive and speeds ahead! We then have lots of cuddles and a big rest on the beach afterwards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d12\/2810n.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Finally, me and my partner Chris have found a new home for us all, which has our own private garden especially for Marley (as opposed to the communal garden we currently share.) But I give him 10\/10 for persistence!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He has a wonderful gentle nature and really is a super boy.<br \/>\nMy children love him and have been teaching him to sit and give his paw.<br \/>\nHe&#8217;ll do anything for them if they have a treat in their hands!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/d12\/1608q.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This is Sam, he is a 4yr old male Collie.<br \/>\nI only picked him up a few hours ago but so far he has behaved beautifully.<br \/>\nHe is good with other dogs and, on first introduction, seems ok with the cats.<br \/>\nHe hasn&#8217;t met the children yet (they stayed at Nana and Grandads last night!) so I will update again later!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REHOMED progress update: 13\/9\/13 I thought I\u2019d provide an update on Marley (previously Sam) who has been with me for 5 wonderful years now.
