Merry Christmas to DAWG Dogs from DAWG Dog Poppy
\nSince 2013 she’s enjoyed lots of travels, but still likes nothing better than a good snooze!
\n<\/p>\n

\"Poppy\"<\/p>\n

A quick update on Poppy – seen here relaxing on a camping weekend in the New Forest in preparation for her European tour.
\nShe loved dashing in and out of the streams and amused us all by blowing bubbles underwater – it seemed to amuse her too as she then kept doing it in her water bowl too.<\/p>\n

She’s finished her ‘Novice’ dog training class and was voted ‘most improved dog’ – what a star (although, to be fair, she could do most of the novice tasks already…).<\/p>\n

We’ve lost a number of things (notably reading glasses, prom shoes…) to chewing – but it’s out fault for leaving them within reach!<\/p>\n

She is incredibly affectionate and loves a cuddle on the sofa.<\/p>\n

Again, thanks so much for letting us have her!<\/p>\n

Just to let you know that Poppy appears to be settling in really well.
\nShe found Scottie’s old toys straight away and claimed them as her own.
\nShe loves lounging around on her new bed (but she likes to think she can be a bit of a sofa surfer…).
\nShe had a little winge for 10 minutes when we went to bed but then slept through in her crate.
\nShe had a good walk this morning with the pack of boys from next door (5 shih tzus!).
\nTomorrow she’s off to the V.E.T. so she might not think we’re quite so great after that!!<\/p>\n

Poppy has now found a home !!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Poppy a young Lurcher arrived into the rescue on Sunday.<\/p>\n

She immediately got on with the other dogs and is also good with children.<\/p>\n

Poppy is tan and white and short haired.<\/p>\n

She will be on the Dawgdogs charity walk on Sat along with some of the other dogs we have needing homes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
