progress update: 27th Apr 09<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flint is going to his new home on Thursday !!<\/strong><\/p>\n

progress update: 19th Apr 09<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flint is now looking for a new home.<\/p>\n

He has been in a very good home and has been very well trained,<\/p>\n

but unfortunately prefers a quiet life and is finding it stressful to be in a household with young children.<\/p>\n

He loves long walks over the Purbecks !<\/p>\n

Flint will be going to his new home tomorrow !!<\/p>\n

Just a quick update on Flint, he is fine! Everyone who meets him falls in love with him but they all think he does not need much walking.<\/p>\n

He has a good turn of speed and is at present very happy with two, three mile plus walks a day and a short walk before bed. We do not think he would be suitable for someone who could not commit to at least two walks a day.<\/p>\n

He is also very intelligent and I think would benefit from training, he seems to know the basics already.<\/p>\n

Flint has settled in really well and we are walking him off the lead,
\nhe has quite a turn of speed especially when he chases rabbits.
\nHe is very quite and undemanding and will make someone a wonderful companion.<\/p>\n

Well, I have arrived in England and is my way have taken it all in my stride.
\nI’m not in the least bit fazed by Dooley who thinks he’s in charge.
\nI’m way too wise for all that nonsense and can sort myself out thank you very much.
\nI soon sussed out the best bed and settled myself down for a snooze.<\/p>\n

Being a mellow sort of chap and having stayed with Jan who helps Tessa out with fostering us dogs I’m used to an orderly life of regular walks and very good meals.
\nI, like Fen, was found wandering but instead of a mangled tail I had a mangled leg from an accident with a car.
\nMy leg had to be amputated and I have learnt to run very well on three legs.
\nI can even to the amazement of everyone cock my leg
\n(though of course I only do this where I am meant to)
\nand I can scrape up the soil behind me after relieving myself whilst balancing on three legs.
\nNo mean achevievment!
\nI stayed with Sonia for a couple of days before making the journey to here and completely ignored her cat.
\nI’m a stable sort of chap who likes to quietly go about life without making too much fuss.
\nI think I will like it here but would prefer to be in a home where I will be appreciated for my placid temperament.
\nAnyway our evening meal is about to be served so I must stop now or I’ll be late to the table and Fen will eat it all !<\/p>\n

Flint will need a quiet home as he doesn’t ask for much.
\nHe is quite content to mind his own business and is gentle and quiet.
\nHe gets on well with other dogs but does not need to be homed with one.
\nHe is also good with children and loves the car.
\nAll in all a thoroughly nice dog who will
\nmake someone an excellent companion.<\/p>\n
