{"id":9,"date":"2017-07-09T13:55:27","date_gmt":"2017-07-09T12:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/?p=9"},"modified":"2017-07-19T16:04:05","modified_gmt":"2017-07-19T15:04:05","slug":"buddy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/buddy\/","title":{"rendered":"Buddy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>REHOMED<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong>progress update: 9\/07\/2017<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/17\/197d.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Nearly 10 years since we adopted Buddy&#8230;&#8230;..can never thank you enough for our gorgeous crazy boy!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/sithean.com\/dawgdogs\/dogs\/buddy1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8221; We adopted Buddy 7 months ago and were warned that he had had a difficult past and so could be quite fearful \u2013 particularly of kitchens, noises and men.<br \/>\nHis foster family had done a marvellous job with him and even on day one with us showed very little fear of his new \u2018Dad\u2019 although clearly felt more comfy with his new \u2018Mum\u2019 and followed her about constantly (and still does!!). He took a while to feel happy in the kitchen but within a short time was coping well even with the dishwasher &amp; tumble dryer \u2013 although he still wishes that his \u2018Mum\u2019 would empty the dishwasher more quietly!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">On day 2 his \u2018Dad\u2019 bought him a new, quite expensive, bed (a little begrudgingly and moaned at the cost &#8211; saying he hoped Buddy would use it!!). Buddy showed his appreciation and curled up in it straight away \u2013 and has slept in it every night since and every other chance he gets!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In the house he has been the easiest dog from day one, is always obedient, and never barks. He was very noisy on walks \u2013 but as our dog walking confidence has grown so has his and he now walks quietly \u2013 until we go to the park where he LOVES to chase balls and say \u2018hi\u2019 to his doggy friends.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">His other favorite place is the beach \u2013 he is an absolute water dog and finds any puddle no matter how muddy!!
