Smokey went out on his first off lead walk today.<\/p>\n

He kept very close to me just like he was doing Heel work to Music maybe he has been watching it on the telly.<\/p>\n

He is the sweetest little thing.<\/p>\n

A little nervous when meeting new people and dogs but in a couple of seconds wagging his tail and jumping up to say ” Hello “.<\/p>\n

The hair on his head and paws is growing back fast and furious now he is on a good diet and extra vitamins, cheese, goats milk and fresh meat.<\/p>\n

I love this lovely boy.<\/p>\n

Here he is with The Bandit (Spike – still determined to hang onto that tennis ball despite having some teeth out earlier last week! )<\/p>\n

This is Smokey who may not be looking his best right now due to having a lot of hair shaved off. He was very badly matted when taken in by but his hair is growing back and he looks less odd now.
\nSmokey along with his siblings are small dogs about the size of a Cocker Spaniel ( even though they look larger in their photos ) .
\nFor those of you that are a bit fanciful and always looking for the cross of two different breeds in a dog , this bunch are complete mix ups of all sorts of dogs and as far as I am concerned this is always the best sort.
\nThey are very sociable and gentle dogs. Which is amazing seeming as they were locked away in a shed and living in filth. They still need house training but that will come quick enough now they are in foster homes. They are a year old.<\/p>\n

Not sure if this email will get through but I hope so as it would be good if you saw the dogs as they were when they were rescued, poor little mites never saw the light of day always locked in a filthy shed got little food or water until they were abandoned and seen wandering on the road . A friend of mine phoned me and we went and picked them up it would just break your heart to see them I still cry with I think back, no wonder the poor things are so dirty.
