Tetley

REHOMED!!

progress update: 17/05/2022

We received this message from the couple that adopted Tetley and it just goes to show what a little patience and training can achieve.
Tetley was not good with the cats when he first went to his new home.

Hi Helen. I thought I’d send you some pictures of Tetley taken today on his 2nd Gotcha day.
He brings us so much joy.
We love him so much.
So do the cats. X

Hi Helen, We thought you’d like an update on Tetley, this his first Gotcha Anniversary.
What a difference a year makes

Tetley patiently waiting for his Dad to come back from Tescos with treats

Tetley has now found a home !!

progress update: 17/06/2020

The cat project is ongoing and we’ve managed to persuade one of them to eat on one side of the dog gate with Tetley being fed fishy treats on the other.
He’s very talkative at times which was a little disconcerting at first.
However, his behaviour appears to be classic greyhound in every way.
He is lazy, windy, affectionate, loves a cuddle and does what he wants when he wants to do it.

His recall is improving rapidly and we are now getting good eye contact for a lot of commands.
He loves mixing with other dogs and doesn’t appear to be at all bad tempered with them.
That said he’s so tall that we have to be careful about him treading on smaller dogs and we are rationing him until he’s been neutered.

I’m still working from home so he keeps me company on the couch next to my workstation most of the day.
Our Spanish Rescue dog Willow arrives tomorrow pm so we’re prepping for that at the moment.
I think that should settle him

Tetley has settled well into his new home!

Tetley is a year old Lurcher who gets on well with other dogs, cats and children.
Tetley is a very good boy and is settling in well.
