Carrie needs a home !!

progress update: 10/07/2020

Following the photo of Carrie which was taken upon her arrival to the Rescue a month ago,
we are so pleased to be able to share these pics taken today
she has gained weight and her wounds have healed nicely
amazing what some TLC can achieve

Poor Carrie arrived to us in not a good state of health.

Covered in scars with a few open wounds and very thin as well.

In the last few weeks her wounds have healed, she is putting on weight and become more confident.

We will post more recent photos this week.

This is one that was taken soon after she arrived.

If you may be able to offer a home

please call Helen on 01202 380467

Phone calls & messages are usually only taken during office hours Mon – Sat.

Emails and Facebook messages can usually only be responded to within 3 days,

so please be patient if you don’t get an answer straight away:

Helen is often too busy to explain how busy she is!

We usually only rehome within approx. 50 miles of the Bournemouth / Poole area
so that we can ensure the continued well-being of the dogs in our care.
We will only rehome further afield if the homes are exceptional.
We are NOT looking for just ANY home that is offered.
All potential homes will be assessed to try and ensure the best possible home
to cater for the differing needs of each individual dog that we rescue

Forest needs a home !!

Forest arrived this week and a right lovely character he is.
He is 9 months old and around knee height and looking at him is not likely to grow a lot taller.
He gets on really well with dogs and children too.
Has settled in at his Foster Mum’s house with her dog and family.
They all love him

Felix needs a home !!

progress update: 27/06/2020

Felix is a gentle loving boy, he enjoys going for his walks and having a good sniff.
He likes to meet other dogs but can get a bit excited.
We are working on his recall but at the moment it is very selective and will need a lot more work before he can go off lead.
He may scent mark in the house so careful introduction to new areas would be advised.
He has gained confidence with men but is nervous of sudden movements.
He loves food and will take any opportunity to get more and has a very good reach!
His favourite thing is to try and climb on your lap for a good cuddle.
Sue

Felix arrived last Sunday from a dog pound.
He is around two years old and a Lurcher with Collie in his mix.
He was extremely nervous at first and very frightened of men but seems to be more relaxed now.
Below is what Sue his foster Mum has written about his progress –

Felix has had a good first night and is getting on well with Marler (Nero).
He is already gaining confidence with Andy.

Sunny needs a home !!

Sunny – arrived on Sunday from a dog pound.
He is a little thin but will soon gain weight with the extra meals he is having.
He has been friendly and confident since he arrived and seems to love everyone he meets.
Lianne fostered him for his first night until Lisa who he is fostering with now could pick him up the next day.
Here is Lisa’s update on how he is settling in :-
Hi Helen he’s settling in lovely boy good with kids we love him
Been to Delph woods and Sunny is very good on lead and with other dogs.
