The cat she is fostering with and her are best of friends, gets on with other dogs and is good off the lead

Hiya
Quick update on Poppet.
She has now been spayed and had her first vaccination.
She is a lovely dog with bags of energy.
She is still a bit wary of new people but it only takes a few minutes for her to be curious enough to say hello.
She gets on well with other dogs, cats and small furries.
She has been with us for a while now and really needs her forever home.

Poppet is a mixture of all sorts medium size, likes cats and dogs and coped well with a busy household at Christmas.

Poppet enjoying the snow, shame we had to bring her in as she shouldn’t be leaping around after her operation.

 

We’ve had Poppet since middle of December and she’s a real sweetie.
She was a very frightened dog when she arrived but had settled in well although she is still wary of strangers when out.
She is quite good off the lead and likes nothing better than running round with other dogs which is the only time she barks.

She also loves fetching a ball but will drop it instead of bringing it back if distracted.
Poppet loves playing with our cat and more importantly our cat loves playing with her, often throwing herself on the floor in front of poppet to get her attention.
She is spotlessly clean in the house and so far hasn’t chewed anything she shouldn’t.
She responds well to training and has learnt to sit and wait before eating her food.

Poppet came in as a stray and I estimate her age at approximately 6 – 8 months.
All in all she would make a great addition to any household.
