Poppy

REHOMED

progress update: 6/4/13

Hi Helen, just to let you know Poppy is still doing very well and is such a little character,
it feels like we have always had her here,
Cookie loves her brings her toys to play with, etc!
I wanted to let you know we took her to the vet to be spayed and Poppy is having a phantom pregnancy,
so the vet would not do it, she has to go back in May,
the vet said she would be OK for at least a month or so,
she is never out on her own and at the moment we keep her on the lead as she is still very wary of strangers and gets nervous, but we are training her.
I will let you have the forms back as soon as she is spayed, she has had her injections, etc.
Hope you are well.
Love and blessings.
W.
xx
Poppy was one of the recent Yorkshire Terrier cross girls.
There were three of them but Poppy was with Jeff and we didn’t have a photo of her.

Avah

Avah has now found a home !!

progress update: 4/4/14

Avah has now been with us a week and she has settled in beautifully,
she is quiet and clean in the house travels well in the car and is happy to be in her crate at night.
Avah has a really happy disposition and loves everyone and everything,
she especially loves other dogs and greets everyone with a waggy tail and loves them to chase her,
she will need an active home as she has lots of energy and relishes every moment of her walk
she is a wonderful little girl

progress update: 1/4/14

This is the beautiful Ava who has been returned to the Rescue as the lady who adopted her from us feels that she now doesn’t have the time for her !! .
Please remember that when thinking of adopting a dog it is a lifetime commitment.
Poor Ava was first of all left on the street at 8 weeks of age, came to us at the Rescue then found a home which we thought would be forever and has now been returned to us….
A Dog is for Life remember and not until it needs more time than you are prepared to give it.

Avah is a 10 month Lurcher type who has a wonderful nature, she is spayed, vaccinated, good with other dogs and cats and has lived with children aged 6 and above.

Snoopy the Pomeranian

Snoopy has now found a home !!

My name is Snoopy and I am a Pomeranian.
I travelled very well in the car back to Helen’s house and get on with the other dogs.
I am a little tired for photo shoots after my long journey so photos of me will be up on the website soon. I am more interested in eating my breakfast and having a bit of a sleep for now.
I will let you know in a few days time how I am getting on.

Gareh (a.k.a Gareth)

Gareh has now found a home !!

progress update: 25/3/13

Gareth as I have called him now as I read his name wrong.
He is settling in really well and learning house rules really well.
He loves company especially my 4yr old niece who he follows around all over the place.
Gareth walks well on the lead and his recall off the lead is coming along nicely.
He is very energetic and would love an active family.
He mixes well with other dogs but needs a bit more socialisation with entire males as he seems nervous of them.
Gareth is a beautiful boy who just wants a loving home.

My name is Gareh, I am a Collie mix and I get on with other dogs.
I have just made the long journey from Ireland and am now eating breakfast and about to have a bit of a catch up with sleep here at Fran’s house.
I like her dog and have also met next door’s dog who I got on well with too.

I will update you once I have settled in to my foster home.

Jack

Arrived today due to housing difficulties
10mths old parsons terrier.
fab little boy,
subject to home check he has a forever home

Please can you help?

We have a lovely lady who adopted a DAWGdog from us a few years ago.
Sadly her husband has died and she cannot afford to stay in her home.
She is desperate to keep her dog and needs to rent a flat where they allow pets.
Does anyone have a flat vacant where dogs are allowed or know anyone who does?

Please phone Helen at the rescue if you can help

Pagan has finally given in and is now sharing her bed with Rox …………..

Roxy has now found a home !!

Hi Helen just a quick update on our new foster Roxy, this little girl has been no trouble at all, she settled very
well after her arrival on Friday, she is clean and quiet in the house, good in the car and has fantastic recall.

Roxy loves her walks, she also loves to play ball wether it be a tennis ball or football, she has bags of
energy and will require quite an active home, in the evenings she likes nothing better than cuddling up with
any lap thats available, she is very sweet with my children and good with other dogs, she will make a lovely
addition to any household.
