Gizmo

REHOMED !!

progress update: 27/6/15

Dear Helen
We just wanted to let you know that Gizmo is settling in well at Dad’s house and has made himself at home on the chairs and claimed his new bed and blanket.
He is eating well and enjoying his walks and has realised that the morning walks involve picking up the paper from a shop where the lady gives the dogs a treat and he is lining up ready for his after two mornings.

He now has been fitted for his new wardrobe and although his winter coat is at the dressmakers to get the Velcro moved everything else now is fitted and ready to wear.

Many thanks for letting him come into our lives and thanks to Pat to for the loan of the harness due to sizing being different for each item
( I managed to buy two harnesses in small and one was too big and the other too small).
These are now rectified and Dad will return the loan harness in the next couple of days.

Thanks again
Tracey

Rupert (a.k.a Rufus)

REHOMED !!

One month on and they are closer than ever.
It’s still a work-in-progress off the lead as he’s wandered off a couple of times and he’s gone ‘deaf’ on recall.
Also with the cat.
Meow meow hates him and Rufus looooooves him!!
Still only one month and it’s more positive every week
😊 My adopted dog from DAWG Dog Rescue.
Love him to pieces xx

Douglas

Douglas has now found a home !!

progress update: 16/5/15

Hi Helen,

Just thought we’d drop you an email and let you know how things are going with Douglas.
We really couldn’t ask for a better dog.
His walking on the lead is improving once he gets over the initial excitement, and off the lead he never strays more than 15 metres away.
Seems completely house trained, as no accidents so far, and has already learnt how to tell us if he wants to go outside.
He plays with all his toys nicely, and hasn’t shown any destructive behaviour apart from with sticks!
He doesn’t beg when we are eating, isn’t bothered by noise or other dogs outside the window.
We could go on and on.
Feel free to come and visit at the pub whenever you like

Andy
