Fundraising at The Candle Jar

Claire at the Candle Jar, Winton is kindly fundraising for DAWG – please read what she is up to and pop in if you can:-

RAISING FUNDS for DAWG at The Candle Jar.

Debbi has kindly made these beautiful heart ‘Drifters’ £5 each, with ALL money going to DAWG.
We also have lovely greetings cards made by Jan for DAWG and are stockists for Salisbury Hospital Trust famous ‘My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream’ range.
We receive 20% for selling the Sunflower items, this is split between DAWG & The Bournemouth Soup Run.
If you enjoy your home fragrance, there’s a Candle Jar DAWG charity basket full of lovely items, at the moment it’s reed diffusers.
We want to do all we can to support the vital work of Helen and her wonderful team of volunteers and foster carers.
You are so welcome to pop in with your dogs, we keep a supply of treats under the counter !

Samantha Fry runs for DAWGdogs !!

Samantha Fry is running the London Marathon and Silverstone Half Marathon.
She has set up an account to raise money for DAWGdogs.
If you would like to support Samantha, monies can be paid directly into Lloyds Bank, Poole High Street branch. A/C number 47167160 sort code 30-96-73

The monies raised will go towards Hope’s further treatment for cancer and the care of all the dogs at the Rescue.

Sat 23rd Nov – Flying Colours School of Motoring are running an Under 17s driving event at Matchams

Flying Colours School of Motoring are running an Under 17s driving event at Matchams this Saturday, 23rd November.

There are a few places which have become unexpectedly available, both single and double sessions.

The normal price of a single session is £23 and a double session is £43.

Flying Colours are offering these remaining sessions at an amazing half price (£11.50 for a single session and £21.50 for a double session).

Minimum age 14.

Did you see the BBC One Show a few weeks back featuring Salisbury District Hospial who have developed a moisturising range called My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream ?

Well The Candle Jar are so thrilled to announce following recent negotiations, we are selling the range with ALL proceeds from our shop sales (20%) going to DAWG Dog Rescue (10%) and The Bournemouth Soup Run (10%).
