Tetley

REHOMED!!

progress update: 17/05/2022

We received this message from the couple that adopted Tetley and it just goes to show what a little patience and training can achieve.
Tetley was not good with the cats when he first went to his new home.

Hi Helen. I thought I’d send you some pictures of Tetley taken today on his 2nd Gotcha day.
He brings us so much joy.
We love him so much.
So do the cats. X

Sammy

NOW REHOMED !!

Sammy arrived from a dog pound and what a lovely gentle boy he is.
Gets on so well with other dogs and people, loves his walks with Greta and just fitted in here.
He is 7 years of age and a knee height Lurcher.
These photos were taken of him just before he left the pound.

Thank you Debi !!

Thank you Debi for the incredible donation made to the Rescue via the auction you held.

We know that you worked sooo hard to make this a success and have spent hours and days posting parcels to the winners of each item that was bought.

We will be using the £700.00 that you raised for us to buy and install a new outside pen for the foxes.

Thank you so very much!

Ben

Ben is unlikely to find a home and so is staying at the Rescue

Lovely Ben. We all love Ben, he is such a sweet dog. Zenon holding the lead. Our volunteer dog walker Greta took photo

Lovely Ben as Greta has aptly descibed him is with us long term due to a neurological problem which affects the use of his back legs.
He can still enjoy a walk with Greta and there is no dog here quicker to the post when he hears the bowls being readied for dinner or the treat tin at lunchtime and bedtime.
Around the time Greta is due to take him out he races to the back gate.

Rupert

Rupert has now found a home !!

progress update: 31/3/22

Rupert is doing very well, in fact he is so good he spent some time off lead in the woods.
He is a real pleasure to be with and a real funny guy.
Lucy seems happy with him and they are enjoying sniffing and checking things out together.

Rupert arrived yesterday.
He was quite timid on arrival but has soon come out of his shell and greeted Liane’s friend with much enthusiasm when he paid a visit.
Rupert is between 6 to 9 months old.
He has made himself right at home

It’s fox cub time again!

It is that time of year again and the first two Fox cubs came in a week ago to be hand-reared.
Another older cub a couple of days later but no photos of her as she needs peace and quiet and to be handled as little as possible.
On Sunday their eyes started to open.
Thank you Lianne for moving in to help again this year.
Such a privilege to help these little ones on their way to adulthood
