Dani (mother of Bella, Willow, Cooper, Timmy, Bear & Dolly)

Dani has now found a home !!

Dani has finally found her home.
Jane who fostered her had fallen in love with her but we didn’t give her too much time to grieve and filled the hole in her heart with Jessie the Terrier.

Thank you for DAWGdogs Show !!

A huge thank you to Kate for organising the DAWGdogs Show again this year.
Kate does this every year for the Rescue and it is always a great day due to her hard work.

Thank you also to Pat and Nigel who let us use their place every year for the show.

Thank you to all the people who volunteer to help year after year, everyone who donated items for the Auction, Raffle, Tombola, Bric n Brac, Bottle stall and the people who baked cakes for the Cake and Plant stall and the Judges and Judges helpers.

At first count we have raised a fantastic £2,310 so far and we will post the final total once the last few pounds have come in.

Thanks to everyone and their dogs who came to support us!
We hope to see you there next year!
Helen.

Please bring your DAWGdogs !!

As many of you know, Eileen in Ireland has worked endlessly saving the lives of many dogs who otherwise would have been put to sleep.

Eileen has come over this weekend from Ireland especially for the DAWG Dog Annual Dog Show and would absolutely love to see as many of the Irish dogs as possible.

If you own one of these Irish dogs, it would be very much appreciated if you could bring them along to the show on Sunday for Eileen to meet.  This would mean a great deal to her.

Thank you so much

Helen

Sep 7th (Sunday) : DAWGdog Fun Day Dog Show 2014

The annual DAWGdog Fun Dog Show will soon be upon us!

We have some great items that have been generously donated for the auction!

We still need bottles for the bottle stall so if anyone has any they can donate please phone either Helen at the Rescue or Kate on 0799 0614091.

We have plenty of bric n brac this year but can always sell second hand dog items if anyone has any to donate.

Our cake stall always does well and we are always grateful for people baking cakes and bringing them along on the day.
If you do have time to bake cakes but are not coming to the show then please let us now as they can be dropped to Helen at her house.

Helen is on 01202 380467 or Kate on 07990614091

Many thanks and we hope to see you all there again this year along with as many ex Dawgdogs as can come along to enjoy the day!
