Well done Ollie on completing the New Forest Half Marathon this Tuesday for DAWG in the amazing time of 1 hr 47 mins !!
Thank you Animal Canopy for the cheque you gave to DAWGdogs to help towards one of our kennel bills.
You all do so much to raise funds to help us smaller rescues and it is very much appreciated!
Here is a link to Stephanie’s photos from last Sunday:
The weather stayed dry and we all had a great time at the our annual Fun Dog Show this year.
Lots of ex DAWGdogs there to say hello to.
Thank you to Kate who every year organises the whole show on her own – what would we do without you ?
Thank you to to Kate’s family, Pat, Mark and Ann, who every year let us use their farm for the show and turn up to set up the day before and help on the day.
Thank you also to everyone who volunteered to help set up on Saturday and everyone who helped on the day on the stalls, car park, judging and Jenny on the PA.
The Friendly Dog Club did a fantastic agility display and thank you to all of you in the club human and canine
A huge thank you to Georgina,Shaun,Mercy and the Shakerfest team who donated to the rescue £580.00 which they had raised at their festival.
We would also like to say thank you to all the businesses and individuals that donated prizes for the Prize bags, Raffle, Bottle Stall, Cake Stall, Tombola and the Auction.
At the final count we had made and amazing amount totaling £2,600.00 for the Rescue!!
Thank you to all of you that came along to support us on the day.
Hopefully, see you again in 2017!

Our annual DAWG show is not far away!
Can you help?
We need bottles, raffle prizes and auction lots.
Ideas for auction lots – maybe weekends away, restaurant vouchers, garage services, pamper days etc.
If you can help with any of the above, please contact Helen at the Rescue 01202 380467 or Kate 07990 614091

Teddy is only about ten weeks old and a Patterdale Terrier.
What can one say but very cute!

Lucy is approx a five year old Collie.
She for a short time lived with Toby before coming to the Rescue and helped to build his confidence up.
Lucy is very good with other dogs and likes the attention and fuss.
Lovely girl and now that she has been washed and groomed she looks beautiful and feels a lot better for it.
Thank you to Jackie of Shampoo and Setters who on Saturday picked her and groomed her for the Rescue.
It took five baths to wash the black dirt out of her coat!!
