Wilbur

progress update: 22/07/2016

Wilbur has now found a home !!

Thank you to everyone who offered Wilbur a home and apologies if we have not been able to phone you to let you know that Wilbur now has a home.
There were so many of you that offered a lovely home and life to him but in the end events this week decided it for us.
Marilyn and Mike who have helped the Rescue for many years tragically and suddenly lost Willow who they adopted two years ago.
Willow had an undetected rare blood disorder and she rapidly became very ill and was unable to be saved.
We felt that Wilbur would have a fantastic home with them and it would also bring some sunshine back into their home and life.

We have many dogs all equally as lovely as Wilbur that still need a home

Lovely Wilbur has just arrived at the Rescue.
He is an 11 week old Labrador puppy

Thank you Debbie !!

Thank you to Debbie Tracey who held a BBQ at her house and raised an amazing £310.00 for the Rescue.
Thank you so much from all the mutts here at DAWGdogs.
This money will help them set them on their way to a new home and better life.

Thank you so much !!

Ludo

Ludo has now found a home !!

progress update: 11/06/2016

Ludo has been with us a few days and has settled in very well, he is such a sweet good natured boy who loves to be around people and will do anything for a cuddle or a game of football.
Ludo is clean in the house quiet in his crate at night and travels well in the car, he can be a bit boisterous at times and needs some work with his lead walking but he is a very quick learner and just wants to please, he really is a wonderful dog and great fun

Ludo has just arrived at the Rescue and is looking for a home – he’s about 8 months old and of medium size,
more to follow as he settles in his foster home

Louis

Louis has now found a home !!

progress update: 04/07/2016

Louis has been the perfect house guest since he arrived a few days ago,
he likes a fuss but he also likes his own space and loves nothing better than pottering around the garden whilst keeping a close eye on whatever I am doing,
he has coped very well with my busy household considering his previous home was much quieter and he is happily living with my 3 dogs.
Louis enjoys his walks but is not going to be a dog who requires anything more than a couple of short walks a day,
he really would prefer to put his feet up on the sofa or lie in the garden.

This is Louis a 10 year old Lhasa Apso
He has come into the Rescue as his elderly owner is moving and is unable to take him with him, he is vaccinated neutered and chipped,
Louis has never lived with young children so would suit a household where the children are of an older age,
more info will follow once Louis has settled in with us.

Kevin

Kevin has now found a home !!

Kevin was an unclaimed stray.
He is young probably 2 years old.
Kevin has settled in very well with Pauline who is fostering him.
He is friendly chap with a tail that wags in excitement when he meets you.
Not sure what he would be like with cats as Pauline doesn’t have one but I would say a cat free home.
