Harry the Beagle & Toyah the punky pup

REHOMED !!

progress update: 19/10/2014

Hi Helen
Just thought I would share some photos of Harry and Toyah as they settle into their new home!!
As you can see they have quickly settled in and already very part of the family !!
Harry has really come out of himself and is now very relaxed and happy with people and dogs !!
He actually has become quite a Daddies boy !!
Toyah keeps us and Harry entertained all day but really does not like the rain !!
“The princess ” has decided she will NOT go for a walk in the rain and unless desperate is not keen to go out in the garden if it’s wet !!

Harry likes a sleep…. And prefers the sofa or bed if he can get away with it !!
Oh and he has also learned to be a real beagle …. And loves to howl when he gets a scent !!
This is fine except at 5 o’clock one morning when we went for an early stroll !!
Ooooopppps .. Sorry neighbours but it was time to get up anyway !!

All well in the new home !!

progress update: 20/09/2014

Toyah is better after several weeks at the Rescue and now her hair is growing back thick and fast
She has gone to foster with Angela and her family.
Angela has sent this update :-

My new foster pup, she is about 6 months old and a live wire, this pup will keep you entertained she is so, so, so happy.
She has the floor covered in toys and loves life
more to follow as I get to know her better

Toyah arrived to us a few weeks ago and in a terrible state.
As you can see she is looking a lot better now her hair has grown back and she continues to improve daily.
Toyah is a typical Terrier mix full of life and go get it spirit.
She is just five months old and a tiny tot.

If you may be able to offer a home or would like more details

please contact Helen directly on:

We usually only rehome within approx. 50 miles of the Bournemouth / Poole area
so that we can ensure the continued well-being of the dogs in our care.
We will only rehome further afield if the homes are exceptional.
We are NOT looking for just ANY home that is offered.
All potential homes will be assessed to try and ensure the best possible home
to cater for the differing needs of each individual dog that we rescue

Baini

Baini has now found a home !!

progress update: 05/10/2014

Hi Helen, Toyah here just emailing to let you know Baini has settled in well, he’s been for lots of walks, has had lots of new toys and cuddles, training is ongoing but he was so good through the night only cried for a few minutes and then he settled down in his new bed.
Thank you so much for letting us give him a new home, Baini seems happy which is the most important thing.

Anyway will update you in a few weeks, again thank you.
Kind regards, Toyah

Warning

One of our members has spotted cooked chicken carcasses in undergrowth in Highland Water Enclosure near Minstead.
Please be aware that cooked bones can splinter in the dog’s mouth, throat, and digestive linings causing serious injury and even death.
Also, please be extra vigilant in checking your dogs over for sores now, cases of CRGV (Alabama Rot) have started in October for the last two years.
