Hi Helen just a quick progress report on the gorgeous little chap Bossik we have fostering with us at the moment
since his arrival hes settled in extremely well,
he has made firm friends with my other dogs especially Tilly with whom he spends most of his time playing with,
he is clean and quiet in the house and settles happily in his crate throughout the night.

Bossik enjoyed his first walk with us this morning he travelled very nicely in the car and thoroughly enjoyed
meeting a variety of dogs and people along the way,
he really is a wonderful little chap with a super nature who would bring a huge amount of enjoyment to any household, he really is delightful.
regards
Niki

Thank you all!

I would like to thank all the volunteers who sold tickets at Pets at Home to raise money for the Rescue
and Viki and Angela who baked cakes to give away on our last weekend there.

I certainly could not have done it without all of you wonderful people helping .

All the Dawgdogs that went to Pets at Home were absolute stars as well.

Thank you.

Helen

Foxy

foxy

Foxy came into the Rescue last week with no obvious injuries apart from an apparent severe concussion.
We did what we could for him including a full check-up and treatment at the vets,
and he had a good meal and a comfortable, safe, dry place to stay to get lots of sleep and rest.
Unfortunately it became apparent he was in no condition to be released and the poor chap didn’t make it through Thursday night.

Scrappy and Boo Boo

Scrappy and Boo Boo have now found homes !!

progress update: 30/10/13

Boo boo and Scrappy are Shiatsu cross Jack Russel who are an absolute delight.
They get on well with everyone including Jackie and Bob’s cat.
Only 7 months old so still puppies.
We’ve had them a couple of weeks now and they are delightful dogs.
They have both been neutered and have recovered well.
We’ve had an extra 2 doggie house guests arrive and they have made friends with no problems, even playing with them and this is unusual for Millie who is a bit reserved.
See the video for an example of this.

They do not need to be rehomed together as they are only young.
They love being picked up and cuddled and just lay there lapping up all the attention.

Jessie

Jess is a 4 yr old Parsons type Jack Russell clean and quiet at night,
good in the car, very playful,
learning recall off her lead,
not suitable for small children or furries but otherwise a sweet
affectionate dog who will make a wonderful loyal companion for someone.
