Bert has now found a home !!

progress update: 18/02/2022

Bert is a really very nice dog.
He gets on so well with the other dogs here, is clean in the house and quiet at night.
He has not been treated at all well in his past and hesitant to pass me when going through doorways.
Getting better on that now he knows he won’t recieve a kick as he passes.
Loves to cuddle up on a lap and enjoys his walks.
His skin infection is so much better now it is being treated and soon will be completely gone.
He has put on weight nicely and not the bony dog he was when he first came in.

progress update: 12/02/2022

Bert is getting the best in his foster home.
Today, he had the Salmon that his foster Mum cooked for her lunch and she had toast instead.
The same happened with her steak as she felt he needed it more than her with him being so very skinny.
This evening he is having for dinner Pork and Chicken.
Last night Cheryl slept on the settee and he slept on her bed – he was a smelly bed companion and Cheryl didn’t have the heart to evict him from it.
He has mange and a yeast infection in his skin and is on treatment until better.
I went down to help bath him in the special shampoo.
He was then hand fed his dinner because he felt too overwhelmed by it all to get out from under the dry towel.
He will be in his bed tonight and Cheryl will have her bed to sleep in ……

This little fella arrived today and is in foster care now settling in.
More to follow on him once he has a few days to settle down
