Billy

Billy has now found a home !!

progress update: 18/06/2016

He has settled in perfectly with the other two now.
He is getting better off the lead, we have been doing some one on one whistle training with him and he is taking it on board.
He is not spending so much time on tables and worktops!
He has the most loving nature and is brilliant with kids and other dogs

Took Billy to town today, he was a good boy.
Went for a coffee and he sat down and chilled.
Let him off the lead at the field and he had a lovely run about and came back every time I called.
He is a gem

update from his foster Mum Jane:-

Today I took Billy to his first dog training class at The Friendly Dog Club in New Milton.
Billy was a really good boy in the car, it was his first proper car journey.
He soon grasped the concept of basic clicker training (quicker than I did, it was a first for me too!!).
He was very friendly with the other dogs and we are both looking forward to going again.
Billy could hardly keep his eyes open in the car on the journey home and is now fast asleep as you can see!!
Thank you to Kate Hurcombe for all your help this morning.

Billy who was a stray came to us just after New Year.
Billy was limping and it was discovered after xrays that he had a fracture.
To enable this to heal Billy was crate rested for 6 weeks and then seen again by the vet who was pleased with the healing of it.
Billy is on limited exercise for another few weeks just to make sure he doesn’t knock it.
Billy is a young Lurcher with a fab temperament.

The handsome Billy has arrived at the Rescue and is looking for a home.
More photos and information to follow once he has settled in to his foster home with Taylor and Alice.
