Had a nice walk, even got my paws wet ,home to get cosy and warm then I’m having a Spa afternoon,
warm bath, massage and moisturise.
Having a lovely play with my new pal Rita, think we will be besties
xx Smurffy
Smurffy is a charming young dog, still very much a puppy, needs lots of time and cuddles,
not keen on winter walks, needs warm clothes indoors and out, good skin care and bathing,
he plays wildly them crashes in all sort of positions.
He will need basic training but walks on his lead and is nearly toilet trained I think any relapse is due to his recent move and just need showing where the latrines are.
Enjoys his dentistix in the afternoon and loves his food, gets on well with other dogs once over his initial shyness,
he likes boxing, standing on his back legs and punching the air, its a crestie thing,
if you would like to be adopted by Smurffy please phone us.
Please be aware these dogs are addictive

We do find that Tess is such a joy and life wouldn’t be the same without her.
She is a real character now and thoroughly enjoys her walks.
We do the early morning one with the two Yorkies next door and although they are only pint sized,
they have appointed themselves her protector and woe betide anyone who tries to get near her rear!
She loves her beds, particularly the one in the conservatory where she can see everything in the garden and yet have access to the rest of the house.
She still follows me everywhere but if I go out she then follows John and she often sleeps on his feet and he loves it.
Her tail wags constantly, much to everyone’s amusement.
Her coat looks good and she has lovely soft fur on her tummy where she was shaved before the operations.
She has come out of her shell and occasionally enjoys rolling along the carpet on her back and being quite frisky.
Early morning walks are fun for her as she has the company of next door’s two Yorkies, and there are plenty of other dogs for her to meet in the fields nearby.
We often come back wet and muddy but she really enjoys being dried.
She has settled down so well and enjoys walking in the fields off the lead, and occasionally has a little run which is good to see, but generally stays quite close to me.
She is sociable with other dogs and people but I really think she likes the quiet life, and as long as John or I are at home she is quite happy.
All in all she is a lovely dog and a wonderful companion and we hope she enjoys being with us as much as we enjoy having her.
We were sorry not to be able to get to the Show as it would have been lovely to have met the lady from Ireland who rescued Tess,
but I understand from the web site that it was a great success.
Best wishes
Rita

Mog (aka puppa roo) had a great time on our walk today, her and her sister have settled in very well, the are very sweet friendly little girls, they love everyone and everyone that has met them out and about have loved them.
They are good at night and brilliant off lead, not keen on their first bath but I was forgiven with lots of hugs and kisses after, these girls are lots of fun and so loving.

Hally sleepy after her walk today

Hally and her sister Mog are four months old and a mixture of lots of types gorgeous dogs.
They have settled in amazingly quickly with Jane and Daisy and have already been off the lead on their walk.
They are full of life and fun and instantly adored by all that have met them.

Ed has been with us for two months and we would love for him to find a home.
He is well trained and loves people.
As he has been in kennels since arriving back to us it would be wonderful to find him a foster home until a permanent is found.
Do you think you could foster Ed ?
He would need to be the only dog as he is used to this.
It won’t cost you anything but your time as the rescue provides food and bedding.
If anyone feels they can foster Ed for us please phone Helen at the Rescue
