Support the DAWGdog runners in the New Forest Half Marathon this Sunday !!

Don’t forget that the New Forest Half Marathon is this Sunday!!
It would be great to have supporters en-route.
The runners are Felicity, Dave, Oliver, Sarah, Jamie, Alex, Luke, Jane, Jonathan, Laura and Jeremy.
All the runners will be wearing black t shirts with DawgDogs across the front.  Jeremy will be in a dog costume so we will be easy to spot!
Doggie supporters welcome too!
The Half Marathon sets off at 9:30 am from New Milton high street.

New Forest Half Marathon runner needed !

DAWGdogs has a team of 9 runners entered into the New Forest Half Marathon on Sunday, 25th September.
Unfortunately one of our team has had to pull out due to injury so we have a space available.
The team will all be wearing DAWG T-shirts and one of the team (Jeremy!) will be dressed as a DAWG!!

Donations from Mr Barn’s funeral

We would like to thank Mrs Barns and her son Jason for their kind donation of £200 which was gifted instead of flowers from the funeral of Mr Barns.
We have been asked to use this money for the care of foxes of which Mr Barns was very fond, £40 has already been used to buy food for a family of foxes that having been coming to a garden every night.

Donations from Chris Hall’s funeral

Chris was a friend of Helen and a great lover and protector of all animals who will be missed by many people.
Chris’s brothers asked that instead of flowers donations were made to the rescue and a total of £95.00 was sent to the rescue.
This money will be used exclusively to pay for the transportation of pound dogs on death row and any money left over after petrol has been paid will be used to pay for kenneling of pound dogs until a a permanent place of safety can be found.
