Mitch (a.k.a Titch)

Titch has now found a home !!

progress update: 30/4/13

We have had this splendid little dog for 2 weeks now,and he has settled so well and is dearly loved.
[Although not all that much by our dog at times]
They had their 1st game of ball together yesterday using 2 balls which went well,no jealousy at all.
He is off the lead in a safe environment [the beach] and is good on recall, especially if you say biscuit!
He really enjoys being out and about and loves everyone he meets .
Children love him, including my grandchildren ,he has such spirit.
We are having to get the balance right with our dog ,who has been used to a single dog existance and apart from a couple of incidents, due to a bit of thoughtlesness on our part all has been well.
More later ,
Best Wishes Barbara

Hi Helen just a quick update on our latest Foster Titch now we have had him a few days,
since he arrived Titch has settled extremely well and has taken everything in his stride,
he absolutely loves everyone and his tail never stops wagging,
he travels well in the car really enjoys his walks and loves to meet everyone who comes our way,
whether it be 2 legged or 4 legged.
Titch is overweight but is far from lazy and with the right diet he will shift his excess weight in no time at all,
he is very enthusiastic about everything he does, he is great fun to have around,
and will bring a great amount of pleasure to whoever takes him on.

Niki

New arrival Titch is a 10 year old neutered Male Jack Russell,

Poppy

REHOMED

progress update: 6/4/13

Hi Helen, just to let you know Poppy is still doing very well and is such a little character,
it feels like we have always had her here,
Cookie loves her brings her toys to play with, etc!
I wanted to let you know we took her to the vet to be spayed and Poppy is having a phantom pregnancy,
so the vet would not do it, she has to go back in May,
the vet said she would be OK for at least a month or so,
she is never out on her own and at the moment we keep her on the lead as she is still very wary of strangers and gets nervous, but we are training her.
I will let you have the forms back as soon as she is spayed, she has had her injections, etc.
Hope you are well.
Love and blessings.
W.
xx
Poppy was one of the recent Yorkshire Terrier cross girls.
There were three of them but Poppy was with Jeff and we didn’t have a photo of her.

Avah has now been with us a week and she has settled in beautifully,
she is quiet and clean in the house travels well in the car and is happy to be in her crate at night.
Avah has a really happy disposition and loves everyone and everything,
she especially loves other dogs and greets everyone with a waggy tail and loves them to chase her,
she will need an active home as she has lots of energy and relishes every moment of her walk
she is a wonderful little girl

progress update: 1/4/14

This is the beautiful Ava who has been returned to the Rescue as the lady who adopted her from us feels that she now doesn’t have the time for her !! .
Please remember that when thinking of adopting a dog it is a lifetime commitment.
Poor Ava was first of all left on the street at 8 weeks of age, came to us at the Rescue then found a home which we thought would be forever and has now been returned to us….
A Dog is for Life remember and not until it needs more time than you are prepared to give it.

Avah is a 10 month Lurcher type who has a wonderful nature, she is spayed, vaccinated, good with other dogs and cats and has lived with children aged 6 and above.
