Tia and Diesel have now found homes !!

We are very very cute crossbreed puppies [Border Collie x] .
We are called Tia and Diesel and are about four months old.
We are brother and sister and have been staying at emmas house for a few days now.
We get on well with the other two inmates here and are learning where to do somethings and where not to do others.
We sleep in our crate at night and are allowed to sleep in the lounge in the evening when we have run off some of our energy.
We have been on walks in the forest and have enjoyed many cuddles with the humans here.
The overweight Golden Retriever who also lives here can be a bit cranky if you ask her to share her food and the other resident collie gets shirty if we try and play with her ball / stick / frisbee / old sock / football but otherwise it is ok here.

Mole, Vole, Mouse and Badger have now all found homes !!

Mole, Vole, Mouse and Badger are 9 weeks old ,all girls and full of life.

Blake has now found a home !!

Hello, My name is Blake and I’m looking for a home.
I’m a four month old Collie / shepherd cross and I was found wondering around Poole.
I’m staying with a lovely foster family (they paid me in Bonios to say that)
I love going for long walks and chasing my new ball.
I have met lots of dogs this week which has been really fun but best of all I have met lots of people who all seem to love me and who can blame them. I love all the attention I’m getting!

According to the family I am a typical Collie puppy (whatever that means) and I am learning new things everyday.

Ditzy has found a home !!

The fun loving Ditsy is a 11 month old staffie cross pup about the size of a cocker spaniel, so shouldn’t get much bigger.
She is lively, lovable, loving and good with other dogs.
She is energetic and could be well suited to an owner or family who also love exercise.

progress update 11/12/10

Hi Helen.
I had a phone call from the RNLI flood rescue team to ask if I had any dogs that could help with there training.
So on a very cold saturday Ditzy Sprocket, Colin and I spent the day being man handled through make shift windows on the pontoons at the college.
Ditzy as alway took it in her stride and was a star.she was taken through windows lowered down into small boats and driven around, amongst lots of noise and spray
we had to make the whole situation be as real as possible for the crews to learn how to handle dogs of all sorts and sizes incase of floods.
I found it quite funny that it was a rescue dog who was helping the RNLI do rescue training, they where so very gratefull for all the help the dogs gave.
Infact they where that impressed they wrote a letter of thanks expressing how well the dogs coped with the training.
Last friday I was asked by Bay Radio if I would bring Ditzy to the studio and have a chat about DAWGDogs.
Yet again Ditzy took it in her stride and behaved great ,she was so happy to meet and greet everyone .
I keep wondering what else this little dog has to do, to get a home ???????
she isn’t perfact but she has so much going for her.
