Jasper was handed into the Rescue from the same people that handed in Lady.
He is a Jack Russel around 7 years old.
He seems to get on with other dogs.
Pauline who Jasper is fostering with says he is a lovely boy and no trouble at all.

Due to accommodation problems Barley was handed into us.
Barley is a 7 years old and a Collie x Labrador.
She gets on very well with other dogs, cats and has lived with a child.
She is very ball orientated and loves nothing more than to fetch the ball back to you.
She is good off the lead too

Gilly came all the way from Somerset to join us on the walk today.
And what a different dog she is now from the very frightened and disturbed dog she was when she went to her new home.

Sorry Helen I accidentally turned Rex into a fish
He wasn’t interested in water till I threw the stick in now he really won’t come out!
We’ve had him for 5months now and I cannot imagine life without him.
He makes us laugh every day and even though he’s a little bit old and selectively deaf when it’s home time from the beach, he is perfect!
Thank you!!

Lady was a stray whose owner didn’t want her back.
She is a lovely dog.
Lady is 6 years old and good with other dogs.
She is off to Yvonne’s tomorrow to foster with her and Gino an ex-Dawgdog that lives permanently with Yvonne.

Rossi is a two year old chocolate brown and white Lurcher
( he looks black in the photos but is a deep brown )
Rossi is fostering with Geoff and his four dogs and getting on well with them.
He is a gentle sort of character but we would say not with cats or small animals
Rossi is just above knee height

This beautiful little one has settled in amazingly, couldn’t be happier, she is just adorable and we love her lots!
Thank you so much Xxx

Hi Helen, we rescued Coileanin from you 2 weeks ago tomorrow and wanted to give you and update on how he is doing!
We have renamed him Paddy and he responds to it very well.
He is getting better and better each day, has learned sit and today learned ‘paw’ within 5mins!!
He is such a wonderful dog and has the sweetest temperament…im regularly being woken up in the middle of the night by him nuzzling me for a cuddle
Today we went on a lovely long walk in the woods behind our house and he was so brave, he even wanted to play with other dogs he met on the way!
He’s still a little unsure whilst walking in the streets but tonight hes been out again and is improving each time!
Thanks to you and to the lady in Ireland for saving him and for choosing us to be his new family, we love him to bits xxx

Casper had a lovely day today.
Jane picked him up at lunchtime and took him through Branksome woods and down to the beach.
He stayed there all day in their beach hut.
He had the company of their dog Teddy to play with and then had a good and long sleep.
Tonight he is staying with Jane at her house and tomorrow will be off for another walk before coming back to the Rescue in the evening.
He is improving day by day and I am a 100 per cent sure he has full sight in one eye.
He really has a good and sweet nature
–
Casper went for his first walk today and bounced around on the lead like Bambi.
Almost certain that he has good vision in one eye as he can see a tennis ball in dusk light and another dog from 20ft away.
He is now asleep and thoroughly tired out.
He is a clever dog and picks up straight away when to stand still to untangle his lead.
He has started to play with the other dogs
–
Casper arrived yesterday.
He is only around 5 months old and bless him has not had the best start in life.
He still has most of his baby teeth.
Someone has sliced part of one ear off and on top of this he can only see shadows in one eye and is probably partially sighted in the other.
He is starting to settle in here at the Rescue and has the sweetest of natures.
Today, he was watching the mop going from side to side and trying to catch it.
