Bonnie is a mixed breed medium size girl aged approximately 8 years.
She loves her walks and is looking for a forever home where she can enjoy morning and evening walks she loves children and mixes well with other dogs and is pretty laid back and enjoys being brushed.
Occasionally when on her walk and she becomes engrossed in a particularly interesting smell she can panic and run the wrong way but a quick clap of the hands reassures her and she will remember which way we are walking.
She eats well and is very good at night sleeping downstairs.
She travels well in the car which she now enjoys and becomes quite excited as a ride results in a walk.
She is not sure about cats and will chase them out of the garden, but has learned to tolerate my cats when meeting them indoors.
She has a couple of lumps be these have been checked by the Vet and she has been given a clean bill of health and will make a wonderful companion to the lucky person who chooses her.
REHOMED !!

Hello Helen,
As promised, please find attached a couple of photos showing Cody swimming in Portland Harbour,
asleep with house mate Oscar and getting to know Pepper the rabbit….
his first encounters with Sammy the cat soon established that the cat was in charge…..
all well save that he has kennel cough (treatment in hand) and a few ticks which Geoff warned us about…
comes when called, travels perfectly in the car/s, sleeps without disturbing anybody and,
having left him alone at home with Oscar for a couple of short periods, appears unstressed….
still some work to do to stop him pulling when on the lead but we’re getting there….
all in all amongst the easiest of the eight dogs we have homed over the past 40+ years.
Kind regards
Paul & Hazel

Pippa settling in well,
time patience and rather a lot of leave and no words has made her accept that the cats are part of her pack,
other than that she can not be faulted for her response to commands.
A couple of photo’s when she was in a lazy mood,
she’s had a tiring day today as well as we have been at my Daughters so she has had Ziggy to play with.
Thanks for her.

Bobby is still being brilliant, loves people and loves other dogs, but unfortunately is currently being a typical 2 year old boy. When we are doing agility, he has serious problems maintaining his concentration, so we have yet done any outdoor shows. He has done one or two good rounds indoors so you can see the potential. I’ll just have to keep working till he grows up. |
We’re trying for KC Gold Good Citizen this summer (failed it last year as he declined to lie still for 2 minutes on cold

Hi Helen.
Just an update on Izzie, she settled down very well, loves playing ball ,going for walks with my son,
also playing with the grandchildren who love her to bits, She sleeps all night until 6am ,
then gets one of us up to go outside, also she lets us know when it’s time for her food.
Thank you for letting us have Izzie,
She is the best dog because she doesn’t lose her hair as much as our last dog.
A big thanks to you once again.
Ian

Hi Helen,
We just wanted to give you a quick update on Pilot and let you know how settled he is.
Although he only arrived on a couple of days ago he is so much a part of our family already that it feels like he has always been here.
What a dog, he is an absolute cracker; he is immaculately behaved and has just been perfect so far.
He is loving his walks and although I was nervous about letting him off the lead the first time, he did not let us down and his recall is amazing.
We could not love him more and could not thank you enough for letting us adopt him.
He has obviously been very loved and I wondered if you are able to pass on to his previous owners how happy he has made us and how happy he is,
I know if he had been mine I would have broken my heart to give him up so I can only imagine that the decision was not an easy one for them.
I have attached a couple of photos of Pilot (or Pie as my daughter prefers to call him) in the garden after his walk.
Thanks again and looking forward to the Fun Day Dog Show in September.
Best regards
Val and Darren
