Rosie ( a.k.a Dudana )

REHOMED!

progress update: 03/03/2015

We have had Rosie for just over a year.
She came to us from Bulgaria having been taken into shelter with her mum & siblings, so coming into our home couldn’t have been more different to her previous life.
We’re not sure how old she is but think she’s about 4 years now.
I took her to basic training classes & she quickly learnt how to ‘sit’ etc. She really has settled into home life incredibly well & gained her confidence in day to day routines.
She follows me round everywhere, she’s very loving & she makes us laugh with her funny little ways grin emoticon We call her nosey Rosie, always poking her nose into something!
She seems to love standing on her 2 hind legs with us holding her front paws, perhaps she just loves dancing, haha!
Always grateful to Dawg for giving her a chance & bringing her to us

Just wanted you to know how delighted we are to have Rosie (Dudana) in our lives.
She is doing so well in just those few days & is settling down into a routine.
She seemed to accept my 2 very young grandsons when they came over yesterday & I feel we are going to get along together just fine!
I am starting training classes with her on wednesday evening which I’m really looking forward to.
She didn’t like the car to start with, but we have been out in it several times & she now associates it with fun places.
Thanking you :)

Anne

Dudana

Rosie (aka Dudana) settling in to her new bed in her lovely new home today

Dudana has now found a home !!

1

DUDANA
Female, neutered,
Born: 2011

This angel came to the shelter after she was dumped along with her mother and siblings, they are an Alsatian mix. We have no clue why an angel like her would remain in the shelter for so long – she is one of the kindest, sweetest, smartest, most human-loving animals we’ve ever had! Perhaps it is her color, or the fact she doesn’t show how kind she is on photos, we have no clue, really, she is an angel in black!

Duda looks large on the photos, but is actually a medium-sized dog, she weighs about 18 kilograms. She is a smiling, friendly animal with a super sweet temperament – all she needs is to be close to a person and you can just see her melt away!

Sadly, Duda has grown up behind bars – she knows nothing of the comforts life can bring you. Still, she is not timid, nor aggressive – she is just a good little girl waiting for a very smart person to recognize the sweetest, most kind and gentle girl and take her home!

Helen – I had Dudana described to me as “the kindest, nicest dog out of the whole 700 at the shelter “
