Missy

Missy has now found a home !!

Missie was kept in a shed with two other dogs and used for breeding.
She has been with us a couple of months now settling in and getting used to everything in the outside world.

From Yvonne who is fostering her :-

She hates cats and loves chasing birds and squirrels.
She loves other dogs, people and children but tends to run up initially barking and growling.
Once she meets them she is fine. Prefers being off the lead and never has to be called back as she stops and checks and returns.
She will be better if there is already a dog for her to live with.
She is good on lead but still very nervous, in particular when it is dark and she tends to bark at shadows.
This is improving. She has boundless energy. She is now clean in the house and sleeps all night.
She has learned from Gino to sit to have her lead on and off.
She will need to be with people who understand her fears.
She travels well in the car and is generally a very happy, friendly little dog when she overcomes her fears.
