Thanks to all who turned up to the DAWGdogs and Pets at Home Fun Dog Show at West Parley.

We had a really enjoyable day and it was lovely to meet so many gorgeous dogs.

Thank you to everyone who helped on the day and all the stallholders who still turned up in spite of an initial wet start to the day.

Thank you also to all the businesses and people who very kindly donated Raffle prizes – Just to name but a few Jules Syrett Photography, Dancing Moose, Catherine Dashwood Photography, Flying School of Colours, Vena Cava Design and Trish G Music.

14th Oct Sun : West Parley Fun Dog Show

Our Fun Dog Show TODAY at West Parley Memorial Hall is now open.

The rain has stopped and the stalls are now all set up.

Lots of dogs are eagerly awaiting lots of fun!

Ring prizes are awarded up to 4th place in all 32 events so there are lots of rosettes and treats to be won

Please come along and support us!

Picnic

Picnic has now found a home !!

Picnic is a cocker spaniel x poodle

From the same home as Pippa, Oakley and Foxy

Great with children and loves cuddles and attention.
She is a nervous dog and won’t wander far from you.
She loves walking in the woods and fields, comes back when you call her name or whistle.
Will fetch and bring back a ball and will let you take a ball from her mouth.
Will sit on command and likes to sit on your lap or next to you all day long.
She may go barking towards other dogs but shout her name and she will come back to you.
Best to brush everyday and cut coat every 6 to 8 weeks.
Picnic has settled in well with the other dogs here at the Rescue.
