progress update: 08/11/2015

Hi Helen I thought it was about time I updated you on Oscar’s progress.

We have had Oscar with us now for over a year and after a tricky start he has become a fantastic dog, full of life and energy with masses of character.
He charms every one he meets, is great with children and other dogs and will chase a ball for ages at top speed(which is pretty fast).
At the allotment shop that I run he has his own fan club who all have to see and play with him every weekend.

Minka

Minka has now found a home !!

Minka is a young only about a year old.
She has clearly been very badly treated and is only just coming to Geoff her foster Dad.
She does let him put a lead on her to go for a walk now and enjoys being out.
She will take time to feel completely at ease around people.
She gets on very well with the other dogs at her foster home.
She is a quiet girl with a sweet nature.
It is a shame that she has been treated so badly.
Still, with time and patience she will learn that this won’t be happening anymore.

 

Lucy the lurcher

Lucy has now found a home !!

Lucy has been with us a while now and we would love to find her a home.

She is a quiet, calm and gentle girl and good off the lead when on her walks.
Lucy is two years old.
She is in a foster home with five other dogs but has not met a cat so we don’t know what she wuld be like with them.
She has been good with the children she has met.

 

Hallowe’en Fun Dog Show

Lynne does and has done for many years a fantastic job rescuing birds and wildlife.

Good fun for next Sunday!

Don’t forget to come along and support WINGS, the local charity that helps rescue and rehabilitate wildlife.

Ricky (a.k.a Rocco)

Rocco has now found a home !!

Thank you Helen for letting us have Roco (aka now Ricky)
He is a lovely little boy and very loving and clever!
Today he got spoilt and had his new wardrobe brought glittery blue collar and matching lead/ blue harness/ a little jumper (as he gets cold as he’s so close to the ground! Lol) and a little squeaky toy and treats his size.
We had to get all this as we have never had such a small dog before and our wardrobe full of dog stuff doesn’t fit him!
Haha very happy with him!

Bruno is a leggy cross breed who looks like a leggy Labrador.
Who can resist those soft eyes….
Bruno is living with children who he gets on very well with and he is also good with other dogs.
He is not good with cats so a cat free home is needed for Bruno.
Unfortunately, the lady who he lives with cannot keep him anymore due to personal circumstances.
Bruno’s long legs like a bit of a run and he enjoys his walks. What dog doesn’t ??

Vinny lives with Bruno and is the same age of two years.
He is great with other dogs and children.
Both Vinny and Bruno are staying in their home while we find them a home.
