New Forest Dog Owners Group warning

Warning

One of our members has spotted cooked chicken carcasses in undergrowth in Highland Water Enclosure near Minstead.
Please be aware that cooked bones can splinter in the dog’s mouth, throat, and digestive linings causing serious injury and even death.
Also, please be extra vigilant in checking your dogs over for sores now, cases of CRGV (Alabama Rot) have started in October for the last two years.

Max the German Shepherd

Max has now found a home !!

Max is a three year old German Shepherd who arrived to Ann’s place just skin and bones.
As you can see from this photo Max is now in prime health and looking for a home.
He gets on well with other dogs and as he has been living on a smallholding used to horses, turkeys, chickens and anything else needing a home that finds its way to Ann’s place.
