Poppy

Poppy has now found a home !!

progress update: 08/01/2022

Poppy spent Christmas and will stay in foster with Sheila until a new home is found.
Sheila says she is the perfect house guest, has excellent recall but does need long walks.
She has met lots of visitors to Sheila’s house over Christmas and behaved politely greeting them all in a friendly manner.

Poppy who is a Pointer arrived from the dog pound yesterday and has gone to foster with Alan and his family.
She is settling in there well and following Alan around the house.
Slept on her own downstairs last night and not a peep all night.
In spite of a long day for her yesterday with many new experiences and changes, her gentle nature shone through when meeting us all and the dogs here before going to Alan’s.
She was lovely with Nora the Terrier that arrived the same day.
Poppy is around two years old

If you may be able to offer a home

please call Helen on 01202 380467

Phone calls & messages are usually only taken during office hours Mon – Sat.

Emails and Facebook messages can usually only be responded to within 3 days,

so please be patient if you don’t get an answer straight away:

Helen is often too busy to explain how busy she is!

We usually only rehome within approx. 50 miles of the Bournemouth / Poole area
so that we can ensure the continued well-being of the dogs in our care.
We will only rehome further afield if the homes are exceptional.
We are NOT looking for just ANY home that is offered.
All potential homes will be assessed to try and ensure the best possible home
to cater for the differing needs of each individual dog that we rescue
