Sally is lovely.
She has been clobbered in the past and is still fearful of quick movements and will cower down or scoot outside out of the way.
She does like to chew things and I suspect this has got her into trouble in her past life.
She has plenty of activity toys to keep her attention focussed on them and has chews.
At the moment she is thoroughly enjoying a large bone and happy to be in the same space as Sam who also has one.

Several times a week she goes for long walks with Sarah and Tom who love her and she can’t wait for her harness to be put on so she can get going.
She also will be going to a large enclosed area once her stitches are out to blast her energy off, as up to now she has stayed safely on the lead.
She was neutured last week and has a week to go before she can do this.
She needs someone patient to help her gain confidence and it will take some time.

Sally had her first walk at the park today.
She doesn’t pull on the lead and walks quite nicely.
At the park I met three dog walkers I know who had a gang of dogs with them, she was submissive to them all at first with tail between her legs.
Within 5 mins tail was coming up and she was starting to greet them.
Very patient with one of them that was a bit keen on her.
Not bothered by cars at all.
She is very sweet.

Sally arrived on Monday.
She is a good old mixture of all sorts with a touch of Beagle in her. Most rescue dogs are to be honest even though everyone says cross this or that. Nothing wrong with a good of mixture of dogs and actually usually healthier. May even stand outside Parliament with a placard saying ” Stand up for the recognition of Mutts”.

Sally took to Sam straight away and was racing up and down with him.
She is a little thin and was nervous of coming in past me through the door.
She has got over this and comes when I call her in.
Sally is around four years old and a really sweet girl.
