progress update: 14/08/2019

It is Got Gizmo day today!
Already 2 years since we popped to Helen’s and picked him up.
We’ve celebrated with a squirrel search and a sleep.
He is my best pal and just the best medicine.
Thank you Helen for all the work you do with your team DAWG dogs to help the dogs that help us

Kelpie has now found a home !!
progress update: 03/08/2019

Kelpie update : Our beautiful girl Kelpie is still looking for a forever home
Very sweet natured and we know she will thrive in a loving new home.
She loves people and is currently living in a foster home with other dogs so well socialised but can be nervous around dogs she doesn’t know.
She would need ongoing training as a little nervous when road walking.
Off lead and running is when she is at her happiest.

Kelpie is around 6 years old and a Kelpie cross Collie girl.
Sadly because of her person’s health problems she is looking for a home.
She gets on well with other dogs.
She is intellient and quick to learn.
With a little training Kelpie would be a grand agility dog.
She is used to horses too.
Kelpie is the size of a Springer Spaniel in height
Following the success of previous events, the owner of Serles House in Wimborne has kindly offered to hold another Coffee morning to raise money for the Rescue.
The Coffee morning is to be held on Saturday 27th July between 11.00am and 1.00 pm.
Do please come along to support the Rescue and enjoy a coffee / tea and biscuit in the lovely gardens.

Debbie and Ian were married last week and Dotty a DAWGdog was the ringbearer.
Debbie with her Mum Glen have been doing the weekly car boot to raise money for the last 20 odd years and firstly I want to thank her and Glen for their loyal support and all their hours they have spent in the cold, rain and sunshine every Sunday.
Thank you to Ian too who patiently waits for a space to be cleared in their house as Debbie sorts out the donated items.
Secondly, I would like to thank Debbie and Ian who asked their guests at the wedding to not buy presents but instead donate to DAWGdogs.
Debbie and Ian have just let me know that they have raised an amazing £510.00
