Chip has now found a home !!
progress update: 1/9/11
Chip was quite stressed when he arrived not knowing where he was going or the person that brought him on the long journey.
But now he has settled into his foster home he has relaxed and is getting on well as reported below by Jackie his foster Mum.
After getting off to an inauspicious start by arriving in a crate with a muzzle on Chip has turned out to be a real cutie.
Gets on with our dog Basil and the cat although is a bit nervous when people or cars approach when out for a walk.
Has met a few new people since he has arrived and has been friendly with a wagging tail. Loves playing with a tennis ball and showed a marked interest in the hosepipe when turned on, so would probably love watery walks.
All in all a super little dog.
ahh chip, your safe now ,how old is this little chap x
ps.your still scruptious Jacksonxx
Will he be at the show on Sunday?
Hi Lisa, I don’t think Chip will be at the show. But Lisa phone me and I can give you his foster Mum’s telephone number to go and see him. I am sure he would love to go and live with your other two Dawgdogs.
we may be interested in chip we ar looking to adpot a small dog can we have some more details pls
Try Helen’s mobile number 0796 8345216 as she will be out most of the day today
Any news after the phone call about him?
Chip is now safe and sound in his new home. Although, it was a little traumatic when he slipped his collar as he got out of the car and shot off on his own, undirected, exploration of his local environment! I now realise that, at 63years of age, chasing dogs is a futile activity! Thanks to kind neighbours he was recovered and collected. The missus is enjoying the honourable status of “The Alpha Female” whilst I am resolved to playing second fiddle (and doing the washing-up).
Tomorrow is another day.
Sounds like Chip has well and truly landed on all fours..Good luck in your new home chip x
Ah, lovely to hear he’s doing well!!!
