Wooster the Cat

Updated October 27, 2010 Categories: Appeals from other rescues, cats.

Wooster needs a home!

My name is Wooster, I think I’m about a year old,
I was a feral cat when I made my way down to my new home when my farmer died,
but I’ve tamed down, & like nothing better then to sit on your lap now, in fact I am an absolute pet, I’ll even roll over for tummy rubs & purr for you.
Please can you give me a home, I am neutered & vaccinated now, & the perfect gentlemen when it comes to being house trained.
Can you give me a second chance ?
Yours hopefully,

VERY URGENT- 30 Ponies in danger of slaughter (UK) – needing placements or homes before 19th December – please help!

Updated December 14, 2009 Categories: Appeals from other rescues, ponies.

On 5th December over 100 Welsh Mountain ponies ranging from this years foals to 2 year olds were auctioned at Conway, N Wales.
67 of the ponies were not sold and originally an agreement was made by the breeder to sell them at £3 each to the meatman.
They were to be collected on Monday 7th December.
The Meatman didn’t turn up and we have a short window of opportunity to get these ponies into homes or into sanctuaries.
There are currently 30 who have not got anywhere to go and the farmer has extended the time we have to place them to 19th December.
The ponies are unhandled.
The ponies are subject to a deposition order and have to be microchipped for passporting at a cost of £15.00 each before we can move them.
What we need is homes or placements (even if this is temporary) for the ponies,
help with transport and funds to cover the microchipping, gelding and passporting.

If you can help please call 07960 230548 Bernadette Langfield

at Shy Lowen Horse and Pony Sanctuary

4/5 yrs old, this girl is so lovely, bless her, she was homed by the pound 2 1/2 years ago after being collected as a stray, and she is back, her owners this time dont want her back poor love, so she is now unloved and in the pound again !!
She seems fine with other dogs and walks nicely on the lead… Not sure if she has been spayed or not.
This girl has a hair lip.

She is around 2 yrs old , and a very friendly girl, she is fine with other dogs out and bout, but can be a little grumpy when other dogs are around her when she is alone with you.. So I think best homed as the only dog.

Sky needs a new home !

“Hello, my name is Sky,

Unfortunately, my mum is looking for a loving home for me as her circumstances have changed.

I am 2 years old and I have been spayed and chipped. I am a very friendly Staffy and love attention, so my ideal home would be with someone with no children or other pets, so I could have all the attention. But, I do love children and other dogs.

My mum says I do need a bit of discipline though.

If you are interested in giving me a loving home, please call my mum, Marie, on 07709842087.

Woof, Woof – Sky”
