I would just like to share this photo of my lovely Gemma who we adopted from you 13 years ago.

This is our little Rosie we have had her for 3 years now & she is the best little doggie
Hi,
I am still here at the Rescue waiting for a home and even though it is very comfortable here with good company, walks at the beach and quite tasty grub, I would love to find a home.
I have been told I have comic ears which stick up like beacons and lean inwards towards each other.
I really can’t see why this is so funny and a rather rude thing to say !!
Today on a walk Pippin was being a total nuisance or so Helen said, I of course was behaving myself impeccably as usual.
To keep Pippin on his toes I took him off for a good run which gets rid of some of his energy.
I see this as one of my jobs now. One of my other jobs is playing with the Collie who has an Irish name I can’t pronounce.
He has taken time to settle in and I have been showing him the ropes and explaining the rules of the dog room to him.
Which first and foremost is not to pull the blankets on the floor and chew them up, he hasn’t got the hang of this one yet but I am persevering with it. Especially as I am very often lying on the blankets when he pulls them off the bed !!

Cassie is a 9 month old Lurcher – a cross Bearded Collie.
Cassie has been with us since a few weeks before Christmas and what an absolute pleasure to have here.
She is so very good off the lead returning immediately when she is called.
She loves to bring a ball back and forth dropping at myfeet and is soooo pleased to say “Hello” to everyone and their dogs that we meet on walks.
Cassie spent a couple of days helping to fundraise for the rescue and she was a star.
She loved all the attention and getting lots of fuss from people.
She was very good with all the children she met there.
Not sure what she is like with cats not having any here at the Rescue.
Once she has had a good walk she settles down for the day.
Cassie has always had the company of other dogs and I think it would be nice for her to find a home with another dog companion or someone who is at home a lot.

I wanted to give you an update on our DAWG rescue, his name is Vinnie but you might remember him as Cracker!
We have had him for 4 years, he is really one of a kind… naughty at times but fills our lives with so much and really could not be without him!
We still get asked daily what breed he is and we answer… he’s a Vinnie!
You guys do such wonderful work and I just wanted to say thank you!

Lenny is still waiting to find his forever home.
He is such a soft, gentle boy who just wants to love and be loved.
Could you be Lenny’s new family?
Please share and spread the word.
This poor boy was abandoned at such a young age, he is a real home boy now.
Please have a think if you might have room on the sofa or know someone who could help this gentle soul.
progress update:
Lenny has settled in well.
He is a super boy and really deserves a forever home.
He is very gentle and loves a fuss.
He loves other dogs and running around the park.
He is clean in the house but needs training as he is a pup and does what pups do….. he’s had a nibble here and there!
He was very timid when he arrived but he is growing in confidence every day.

Lenny is a young Lurcher who was abandoned.
He is so gentle and has a kind way with him.
He gets on very well with other dogs and is enjoying staying with Claire and Kenny her dog.
He still needs to fatten up a little and is on extra rations.
More to follow as he settles in
